Watch: Huge explosion after strike on Russian oil refinery
Ukraine has hit a Russian oil refinery and targeted Moscow in an attack involving a wave of at least 121 drones, one of the largest operations of its kind during the war.
Video footage verified by the BBC shows a fireball rising above the refinery and pumping station in the Ryazan region, southeast of Moscow, which Ukrainian officials said was a target.
Russia said it shot down 121 drones targeting 13 regions, including Ryazan and Moscow, but did not report any damage.
Elsewhere, Ukrainian authorities said three people were killed and one was injured when a Russian drone hit a residential building in the Kiev region.
Andriy Kovalenko, head of Ukraine's center for combating disinformation, said on Telegram that an oil refinery in Ryazan was hit, as well as the Kremniy factory in Bryansk, which Kiev says produces components for missiles and other weapons. Bloggers have posted photos and videos on Telegram of fires burning at the Ryazan plant, which covers about 6 square kilometers. Verified footage shows people fleeing the scene in cars and on foot as a fireball rises into the sky.

BBC Verify has used video footage to pinpoint the location of two fires at the refinery. One video shows a fire near the northern entrance, the location of which matches the alignment of the road, signs and fences.
Two other videos show a larger fire on the eastern side of the refinery, about 3 km from the first. The location was identified by trees, poles, roads, and matching paths.
The Russian state news agency RIA cited a statement from the Kremniy plant in Bryansk as saying that work had been suspended after an attack by six drones. Pavel Malkov, the region's governor, said emergency services were at the scene.
The Kremlin acknowledged the attacks but did not mention any damage or casualties.
It said it had destroyed 121 Ukrainian drones, including six in the Moscow region, 20 in the Ryazan region and a number over the border region of Bryansk. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the city's air defenses had intercepted Ukrainian drone strikes in four locations.
He said air defenses southeast of the capital, in Kolomna and Ramenskoye, also responded to drones, without specifying how many. He said there were no casualties.

Russian news agencies cited Rosaviatsiya, the federal aviation agency, as saying that two Moscow airports, Vnukovo and Domodedovo, had resumed flights after temporarily suspending operations. Six flights were diverted to other airports.
In the city of Kursk, Mayor Igor Kutsak said the overnight attacks damaged power lines and knocked out electricity in a neighborhood.
In Ukraine, authorities said their air defenses had destroyed 25 of the 58 drones launched overnight by Russia.
The Interior Ministry said debris from one of the drones killed two men and a woman in Hlevakha, Kiev region, and injured one person.
