Calgary double homicide  victim identified as elementary school  teacher

The Rocky View School Division (RVSD) on Tuesday identified the woman  killed Sunday night in Calgary as Ania Kaminski, an elementary school teacher in Cochrane, west of the  city.
"We offer our  deepest condolences to all  those affected by  the death of Ania  Kaminski," said a statement posted  on the school  division's website.
According to RVSD, Kaminski taught  grades 1 and 2 at Elizabeth Barrett Elementary School in Cochrane and previously taught at an elementary school in Airdrie,  Alberta, and a  middle school in Springbank,  Alberta.

"She will be  greatly missed by many colleagues, friends and students at Rocky View  Schools," the statement continued. "We are grateful for the positive impact Ania  has had on the lives of our students and staff over the years."
The school division added that it  provides emotional support services  to students and staff through  the school administration or the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP) for staff members.
Sunday  Murders
At approximately 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, police were called to a home in the  0-100 block of Kincora Grove  N.W.

Officers found a  70-year-old man  dead.
While police  were investigating, a second victim, a  30-year-old woman  — Kaminski  — was found dead  at a home at 11:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Tuscany Ridge Heights N.W.
Police  said the suspected killer was the  deceased woman's husband  and the  deceased was the his  father. A spokesperson for the Calgary Police Service (CPS) said Monday that it  was unclear what happened that  night.
"Currently, the  timetable is  not clear," Inspector Lee Wayne of the CPS  Major Crime Unit said during a  press conference on Monday  afternoon.

"CPS were called to Kincora at  21.30 last  night - so 21.30 - where we found one of the  dead - the deceased man - then we went to an address in Tuscany where  family members raised  "other concerns, and  here we found the  dead. woman".
An emergency alert was issued Monday afternoon for a suspect,  Benedikt Kiminski, whose body was found later Monday  afternoon.
Police said  Sunday's two deaths  were believed to be targeted and domestic in nature.
