Saudi authorities have arrested four Nigerian nationals with 39 kilograms of cocaine in Saudi Arabia.
The Nigerians were arrested by the General Directorate of Narcotics Control while distributing drugs from their hideouts in Jeddah, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
Authorities have recently made several arrests and drug seizures across the Kingdom.
Border patrols in Jazan seized 270 kg of qat in Al-Aridah and 126 kg in Al-Dayer.
They also arrested a national in Al-Dayer with qat in his vehicle.
The Directorate also arrested a Pakistani man in the Eastern Province for selling methamphetamine, also known as shabu. Preliminary legal proceedings have been completed and all seized items have been handed over to the competent authorities.
Security authorities have reiterated their appeal to the population to report any information related to drug trafficking or sales.
