Several media outlets in Poland reported that a 23-year-old man was taken to a police station in Krakow after a domestic dispute, while his injured 24-year-old partner was taken to hospital.
"Tragically, the woman succumbed to her injuries. During questioning at the police station on Wednesday morning, the handcuffed man managed to grab the firearm from a police officer and committed suicide, "writes the Polish media outlet Fakt.
The building is home to several foreigners and the murdered young woman was from Canada and her partner was English or Canadian.
Bosmanbusinessworld News attempted to verify these statements with the Krakow police, but received no response. Global Affairs would not confirm or deny that the information is linked to the two Canadian deaths they are investigating.
