Following an odd encounter with children in Nebraska, Calgary police are searching for a suspicious man.
The public is being asked to assist Calgary police in identifying a suspicious individual who may have interacted strangely with several preteens throughout the summer.
On Thursday, July 18, at 11:30 p.m., two teenagers in the northeast Taradale neighbourhood were being approached by a man as they were making their way home.
According to the police, the man held out his hand as if to welcome the young people, but when one of them shook it, the man grabbed hold of their hand and tugged at it.
Investigators said the victim escaped after severing their connection.
The individual, who goes by Prabhdeep, is thought to be about twenty-five years old, weighs 160 pounds, has black hair, a black beard, and a strong physique.
He's also got a cut on his left eyebrow and visible tattoos on his arm.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing tight-fitting clothes, a silver bracelet, and a dark-coloured watch.
