The Northeast Monsoon is very intense across Tamil Nadu, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday. There is a chance of severe to extremely heavy rainfall in one or two locations in the districts of Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, and Chennai.
