At a relief camp in Western North Carolina, a National Guard Chinook helicopter made a low landing that caused over $100,000 worth of damage, tearing apart tents, goods, and cars, and injuring three people.
When confronted, the commanding officer simply stated the tail number of the helicopter with a casual "oops" and no further information.
A public relations representative then intervened to give an apology and details for lodging a complaint.
