@FEMA_Deanne Criswell just gave me an update on the most recent information regarding Hurricane Helene's continuing effects. We also talked about the ongoing efforts by our administration to aid in disaster relief and recovery.
I also discussed the current search and rescue operations in North Carolina with @NC_Governor Cooper.
To make sure communities receive the assistance and resources they require, our administration will keep in close communication with local, state, and federal representatives.
Doug and I are praying for everyone who lost loved ones and for those whose neighbourhoods, companies, and homes were destroyed or severely damaged in this tragedy.
