The Alberta Bill of Rights has served as a bulwark for our civil liberties and freedoms for many years, and our UCP government will be proposing legislation to strengthen and modify it in a few weeks.
The principles that made Alberta one of the world's most liberated provinces are once again upheld by these modifications. They are concerned with defending our lifestyle, our liberties, and our rights.
We are making it very evident that individual rights are very important in Alberta and that the government must always uphold those rights.
When the MLAs convene again in November for the autumn session of the legislature, we can't wait to discuss this bill.
