Ibrahim Aisami was convicted on a one-count charge of criminal breach of trust and misappropriation of money through the fraudulent sale of two vehicles worth N3.5 million. The charge read that he sold the vehicles without the owner's consent and misappropriated the funds. The court found him guilty and sentenced him to six months in prison or a fine of N50,000, as well as ordering him to pay the balance of N2 million to the petitioner or serve an additional three years in jail.
Bunu Usman Dan-koli was re-arraigned on a one-count amended charge of misappropriating N7 million that was given to him for the execution of a contract by Aliyu Musa Shehu, who was acting for a non-governmental organization. Dan-koli pleaded guilty and was sentenced to either pay a fine of N100,000 or serve 10 years in prison.
Both convictions were secured by the Maiduguri Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
