Calls for Performance Focus The Lagos State branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has labeled the African Democratic Congress (ADC) criticism of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's appointments as "mischievous" and indicative of the ADC's ongoing political irrelevance. In a statement released on Sunday by spokesperson Mogaji Seye Oladejo, the APC accused the ADC of engaging in "petty, uninformed commentary" intended to undermine the President's merit-based and inclusive appointments. The APC emphasized that President Tinubu's selections demonstrate a commitment to competence, regional representation, and institutional reform, asserting that the ADC's comments are driven by "political desperation, not genuine patriotism." The party challenged the ADC to identify a state, local government, or constituency under its management where its "inclusive" approach has yielded positive outcomes, questioning its credibility to advise the President on leadership. The APC expressed confidence in the direction of the President's administration and encouraged Nigerians to prioritize performance over propaganda.
