Calgary Transit launches the revised autumn bus timetable.
On Wednesday, the 19 16th Ave North bus in Calgary makes a stop at the University of Calgary.


This Labour Day Monday, Calgary Transit's revised bus schedule arrived on time and is now in effect for the forthcoming fall season.


Its annual evaluation of routes and timetables includes the seasonal adjustment.




Among these are the addition of the On Demand transportation service to new areas, such as Spy Hill Campus of the University of Calgary, Ambleton, Glacier Ridge, and Sage Hill. As of August 18, this was changed.

According to Transit, routes in the northwest that benefited from public input are meant to "Improve connectivity" in the Bow River area and launch Route 134—formerly known as South Silver Springs—service to Rockland Park.




Among the modifications are:


A new route called Route 26 - Sarcee Trail Crosstown goes through Tuscany, Bowness, Sarcee Trail SW, and Bow Trail SW to connect the Red Line Tuscany Station with the Blue Line Westbrook Station.
Route 134—South Silver Springs—will now be known as Route 134—Rockland Park, and it will reroute along Nose Hill Drive NW from Crowfoot Station to Rockland Park.
Route 115, also known as the Symons Valley Parkway, will be expanded eastward to link with North Pointe Terminal by way of Harvest Hills Boulevard N and 144 Avenue N.
In addition, new routes have been added and school service has been restored.

the new Route 26 – Sarcee Trail Crosstown, and new routes for Route 115 – Symons Valley Parkway, Route 120 – Silver Springs, and Route 134 – Rockland Park.


Service changes have also been made to 44 routes throughout the city.
