It is with regret that we report the in-custody death of a 36-year-old male at the Winnipeg Remand Center. The incident occurred on July 14th, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic event. Manitoba Justice authorities have confirmed the death, and we will provide updates as more information becomes available.
