Former Acting Accountant General of the Federation (AGF), Chukwunyere Anamekwe Nwabuoku, was unable to file a no-case submission in his ongoing trial for alleged N868.4 million fraud before Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja.

The trial was scheduled for July 16, 2025, but Nwabuoku's counsel, Isadore Udenko, requested additional time to prepare the necessary documentation. The case was subsequently adjourned until November 3, 2025, for the hearing of the no-case submission. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had brought a nine-count amended charge against Nwabuoku, accusing him of money laundering.
