Your collective participation in this civic exercise has not only bolstered our democratic process but also highlighted the spirit of unity that defines our dear state.

The high turnout of voters across the length and breadth of Lagos is a clear indication of the importance you attach to the governance of our communities. Your enthusiasm and orderliness at the polling units have once again demonstrated that we are indeed a shining example of what is possible when citizens actively engage in the democratic process.
I must also applaud the youth, the backbone of our society, for their peaceful and matured participation. Your active involvement in this election is a beacon of hope for a brighter future. The wisdom and experience of our elders, the resilience of our market women, and the steadfastness of our artisans are equally commendable. Your contributions to the electoral process today have been invaluable.
To the security agencies, the fourth estate of the realm, and the dedicated officials of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), I say a big thank you for your tireless efforts in ensuring a conducive environment for a free, fair, and credible election. Your professionalism and vigilance are deeply appreciated.
