Title: Introducing my politician friend from northern Nigeria. A brighter future lies ahead

"I know my opinion may not resonate with everyone, but I feel compelled to express my concerns. Over the past week, I've been witnessing a disturbing phenomenon - a crisis brewing between two children who are being manipulated and exploited. Some individuals are lucky enough to get away with writing only part of the truth, while others are betrayed and defended simultaneously.

What I find even more astonishing is the lack of accountability when it comes to our elders. I've never seen anyone call out past wrongdoings, even when they were perpetrated by those in positions of power. Is it because they're not directly affecting our mothers or insulting them? The phrase 'what you sow, you reap' comes to mind. Our actions, or lack thereof, have consequences in this life and the next.

In the name of God, we often correct children when they make mistakes, using fear or preachiness as motivators. Yet, we hesitate to correct adults due to selfishness, fear, or potential consequences. However, it's often our elders who perpetuate deceit and betrayal. Many of our youth are so disconnected that they don't care about the origin of their problems.

Let me be clear: I do not condone betrayal or disrespect. If someone is helped, it's unfair to turn against them.

To our politicians, I urge you: if you cannot uplift and educate our children, then don't waste their time or exploit them for votes. Provide real support and build their futures.
