The Hay River RCMP have apprehended two individuals, Tyrone Stephens, 22, and Brent Norn, 43, in connection with an arson incident that occurred on Sunday at a residence in Rowe's Trailer Court.

The fire resulted in significant damage to the property and affected neighboring houses. Following their investigation, the RCMP have charged both individuals with arson and common nuisance endangering life. Additionally, Stephens has been charged with wearing a disguise with the intent to commit an indictable offence.
Norn, who was previously under conditions from past charges, now faces an additional charge of failure to comply with an undertaking. The arrests and charges are a testament to the effectiveness of public assistance in crime investigations. The RCMP are continuing to encourage community members to come forward with any information that could aid in solving crimes.
