FBI & PARTNERS CONFISCATE 524 KILOS OF COCAINE

Last night, in a collaborative initiative aimed at combating violent crime and safeguarding the homeland, the FBI San Juan Division, in conjunction with U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations, Policía de Puerto Rico, Homeland Security Investigations San Juan, and the Drug Enforcement Administration Caribbean Division, successfully seized 524 kilos of cocaine, a rifle, and apprehended three individuals following the interception of a vessel from Venezuela near Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Timely intelligence and swift interagency coordination prevented these narcotics from entering U.S. territory.
