This morning, Governor Seyi Makinade attended a Lying-in-State and Executive Session in memory of His Excellency Dr. Victor Omololu Sowemimo Olunloyo, a former Governor of Oyo State, alongside family, friends, and well-wishers at the Oyo State House of Assembly.

As the Governor stated in his remarks, our administration had already paid tribute to Baba Olunloyo during his lifetime. The Omololu Olunloyo Park, constructed in his honor, is ready for commissioning. Additionally, we will ensure that his library is preserved and digitized, serving as a valuable resource center. May His Excellency rest in peace, and may God provide comfort to all those he left behind.
