A leading automobile manufacturer has announced a 'stop drive' recall for several widely-used older models following a fatal incident involving a woman in France.

Stellantis, the parent company of Citroen, has advised UK owners of the second-generation Citroen C3 and the first-generation DS3 hot hatches, produced between 2009 and 2019, to cease using their vehicles immediately to ensure they do not have any unresolved recall notices.
