A man has been taken into custody in Calgary following a series of random assaults at a bus loop in the community of Huntington Hills on June 19, 2025. The suspect is accused of punching three transit drivers without any apparent motive. The Calgary Police Service responded to the incident at 10:45 a.m. at the Calgary Transit bus loop located on the corner of Centre Street North and 78 Avenue N.E. Staff Sgt. Jordan Nolan reported that the assailant was quickly apprehended by officers who arrived at the scene.

All three victims sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. The incident is being characterized as a random act of violence. The drivers are not believed to have known the attacker, and it is not yet clear what may have prompted the assaults.
