1. The first information informs us about a newly discovered asteroid, named 2025 KF, which passed by Earth at a relatively close distance of 72,000 miles—about one-third the distance to the moon—on May 21. The asteroid was approximately the size of a house and was discovered just two days prior in the Atacama Desert in Chile. It was moving at a high speed of 25,880 mph, and NASA assured that it would burn up in Earth's atmosphere if it entered it, posing no significant threat. This event adds to the tally of nearly 40,000 near-Earth asteroids that have been tracked since 1998.

2. The second information addresses asteroid 2024 YR4. Initially, there was a small concern that it might hit Earth in 2032, with a 3% risk estimate at one point. However, NASA has now recalculated its trajectory and significantly lowered the risk to a mere 0.0027%, effectively confirming that it will not impact our planet. While it's no longer considered a threat to Earth, there remains a 1.7% chance that it could hit the moon on December 22, 2032.
