The Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has praised the efforts of Governor Ademola Adeleke and his team in Osun State, stating that they are doing a "phenomenal job" in governance.

This commendation was given during Gbajabiamila's visit to Osogbo, where he was set to deliver the first annual lecture of the Osun State University on funding for education. Gbajabiamila acknowledged the positive contributions of Osun State representatives in the National Assembly, such as Hon. Bamidele Salam, who chairs the House Committee on Public Accounts. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Federal and State governments for effective governance and national development.
Governor Adeleke, in his response, expressed gratitude for the recognition and support from the Federal Government, particularly the reintroduction of the student loan scheme (NELFUND) by President Tinubu's administration, which he believes will enhance access to tertiary education in Nigeria. He assured the Chief of Staff that Osun State is fully behind President Tinubu and is actively supporting his agenda for the country's progress. Adeleke also urged Southwest Governors to promote and utilize the NELFUND initiative to ensure that students from the region benefit from the program.
The lecture's focus on education funding is aligned with the President's commitment to transforming the nation through quality education and economic revitalization.
