Peter Obi just arrived in the UK this morning on Saturday

I have just arrived in the UK this morning, traveling on Air Peace from Lagos to London. I have now completed nearly a dozen flights to or from London with this airline. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the management and staff of Air Peace for their professionalism, consistency, and competence on this route.

Once again, I take this opportunity to urge Nigerian elites and political leaders to provide strong and deliberate support to indigenous businesses. Operating any business in our challenging environment is never easy, particularly in capital-intensive sectors such as air and land transportation, especially considering the issues of competitiveness and increasing operational costs.

Nigerian businesses require our encouragement and patronage, rather than harassment or unnecessary intimidation. Supporting local enterprises, especially those that generate significant employment, is essential for job creation, economic growth, and sustainable national development.
